Whats in a name?

The Hebrew word Banah comes from the verse below from Isaiah – it’s the word ‘rebuild’:

“And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.” Isaiah 61:4

This is what we are all about – bringing the truth of God’s Word into places that are in ruins, whether it’s individual lives, families, schools, universities, communities or even whole cities – we want those ruins to be rebuilt as God intended them to be and we want to be involved in God doing it however we can.

The 4 E’s of Banah Ministries – 4 things that we are trying to do:

Enabling

Banah Ministries is primarily an umbrella for those willing to support themselves and wishing to move into full-time ministry. The opportunities are really endless, and the goal is both to establish and prepare the worker for the work God is calling them to, and to release them to minister to others.

Establishing

We are highly involved in evangelism, seeking to reach out to the lost, and desiring to establish new Christians in their faith.

Equipping

It is our prayer to come alongside others and to help equip them in their works and provide them with effective biblical tools for ministering the Gospel of Christ.

Encouraging

Our heart is to aid others by being a stepping stone, helping and encouraging them to better fulfil their calling. Providing further teaching and training, which is grounded in grace and outreach orientated.
