Cornelius - Acts 10:3-4 - ‘About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, “Cornelius!” And when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, “What is it, lord?” So he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God.’
To be honest, once again, this passage isn’t an easy one to get your head around. We are so used to bringing out the truth for people that their religious efforts - church attendance, prayer, giving to charity etc. will never benefit them before God - there is simply no way that those efforts can merit the approval of the true and living God.
